Sally Laux, BSN, M.Ac.
Sally Laux is founder and Director of the Quakertown Integrative Healthcare Center. She is an acupuncturist who has studied, practiced and integrated Western and Eastern medical philosophies since 1979. Sally received her BSN from Ohio State University and her Masters from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute Traditional Acupuncture Institute now in Laurel Maryland.
Sally has been in private practice as a Traditional Acupuncturist since 1994. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. Her primary areas of interest are in treating chronic conditions by harmonizing an individual's spiritual essence in relation to their health and well being – supporting them to live fully in the presence of their life circumstances.

Desiree Steimel, D.C.
Dr. Steimel attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, graduating with a B.S. in Human Anatomy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She began practicing in 1992, in Indiana. She returned to the east coast in 2001, where she married and is raising a family.
Dr. Steimel has helped thousands of patients using Diversified, Thompson, Flexion Distraction, and Nimmo techniques, and has guided her patients on a nutritional level toward better overall health. She stays abreast of the latest chiropractic advancements and is certified in several techniques, the latest being the ProAdjuster technique. It uses a sensor to gently analyze and treat the spine to improve the function of the nervous system, thus improving overall health. She also uses nutritional supplements and offers a body detoxification that rids the body of years of accumulated toxins, which could cause chronic health challenges. She has seen amazing results treating children and adults as well as seniors.

Karyn Jennings, LMT, NCTMB
Karyn Jennings has been a massage therapist for 13 years. She graduated from The Baltimore School of Massage and later attended the Acupressure Institute of America in Berkley, Ca. Karyn combines both Eastern and Western techniques and theories to help to heal and calm the body, mind, and spirit. Her techniques include Swedish massage, Deep tissue, Myofascial release, acupressure, reflexology, a variety of energy work, including chakra balancing, and aroma therapy.

Patricia Hannon, PA-C, MSW
Pat graduated from Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia as a PA in 1997, working in Internal Medicine, currently in a Lewes practice for five years. Adding this to her two decades as a clinical social worker, she is passionate about her role as a healthcare advocate. She combines her expertise in clinically assessing, diagnosing and facilitating patients to optimize their health: body, mind and spirit. Pat is strongly influenced by Buddhist psychotherapy and her experience as a medical missioner in Peru. As a health coach Pat teaches, counsels, and supports patients in changing their lifestyle with the gentle discipline of healthy diet, exercise and meditation. Pat’s primary area of interest is in treating diabetes, obesity and other chronic conditions where improving one’s self care has profound positive impact. Pat is now accepting new patients.
Pat also is starting a group at Quakertown Wellness to support people in their
commitment to making healthy eating work for them.

Bonnie Schuyler, LMT, Reiki Master
Bonnie Schuyler is a licensed massage therapist and a Reiki Master. She graduated from the Baron & Butler School of Massage in Rehoboth, DE. She is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), and is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (AMBP).
She offers Swedish Massage, The Bellanina Facelift Massage, Raindrop Therapy (using essential oils down the spine), and Reiki (energy work).
Bonnie’s goal and passion is to help people deal with the stress in their life. Experts say more than 90 percent of disease is stress-related. We need to learn to take stress more seriously. Give yourself the opportunity to relax and re-charge, both mentally, physically and spiritually. It is an investment in your health and well-being.

Clare Wilson, RN, PCMH
Clare began her nursing career over 35 years ago. After working in Oncology for many years she recognized the need to work with patients on a more emotional and psychosocial level. After completing a Master’s degree in Community Counseling, she became a licensed and certified Professional Counselor of Mental Health, (PCMH). Her primary focus in counseling has been grief therapy. She has worked with patients and families with end of life care and bereavement therapy. For over 15 years she has facilitated cancer support groups, bereavement groups, and a meditation group at the Cancer Support Community (formerly The Wellness Community-DE). She is also certified as a Health and Wellness Life Coach.
As a Health and Wellness Life Coach (http://wellcoaches.com) Clare partners with clients, supporting them to master health and healing, say yes to themselves, and live a balanced life. Life coaching offers clients the opportunity to find meaning in their lives and live with a sense of purpose. Coaching psychology works closely with the field of positive psychology, a field focused on the scientific study of happiness and well-being. Clients experiencing this well-being note a feeling of positive and optimistic state of mind, are fully engaged with life, and generally feel calm and balanced when stressed. Combining professional experience and education, Clare offers Health and Wellness Life Coaching support groups and one-on-one Health and Wellness Life Coaching sessions, and a monthly Wellness workshop.

Susan Hamadock, LCSW-C, E-RYT 500
Susan Hamadock is the director of Silver Lotus Training Institute, a partner of Quakertown Wellness. She developed and founded Svadhyaya Yoga™. At present, Susan offers Body/Mind Psychotherapy, TaiYoQiTM, private and small group therapeutic Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong classes. Susan also offers Yoga Teacher Training (Registered with the Yoga Alliance) at the 200- and 500-hour levels, Yoga and Mental Health Clinical Training, and Tai Chi/Qigong Teacher/Leadership training.
